Roma midfielder Edoardo Bove addressed a lengthy thank-you post to all club supporters upon the conclusion of the season.
In a post on Instagram, Bove made sure to thank the fans for supporting him and the team through their shared ups and downs.
In a complicated year, Bove got off to hot start under former Roma manager Jose Mourinho only to his playing time drastically reduced under Daniele De Rossi.
Perhaps in an attempt to ward off rumors regarding his uncertain future, Bove wrote the following message on Instagram:
“Dear fans, another season has ended and I wanted to thank you.”
“You are always there, in simple challenges and even in the most difficult ones, supporting us no matter what happens. Despite having failed to achieve two important objectives, you continued to be close to us and make us feel all your enthusiasm.”
“It was a very special year for me. The renewal until 2028 gave me a lot of confidence which helped me find confidence and grow as a player.”
He concluded, “Now it’s time to rest to start again stronger than ever. To win together. Forza Roma.”
