Roma midfielder Edoardo Bove spoke soon after the Giallorossi fell flat against Lazio in the Coppa Italia quarter-finals.
In his post-match interview with Roma TV, Bove analyzed the match, “It was a tight match, conditioned by an episode that caught us off guard at the beginning of the second half and then we were unable to get things back on track. We tried to get the result back, but couldn’t.”
“Losing the derby hurts but we need to restart on the weekend against Milan,” he added.
“It will be a very difficult match in Milan. We must put a band-aid on these wounds with the strength of the group, alone it is much more difficult to overcome these disappointments. The strength of the group will make the difference.”
“We leave everything on the pitch, matches can go well or badly. The goal is to leave your soul on the pitch.”
