Edoardo Bove’s agent sounded optimistic about his client’s chances in his second year with Jose Mourinho at Roma. The young midfielder has yet to make an impact on the team after Roma decided to bet on him long-term and, as a result, rejected approaches from several teams in Serie A.
“Everyone can make their own evaluations on Edoardo and his quality, but I would never dare to make comparisons with other players on the roster,” agent Diego Tavano told Centro Suono Sport.
“Roma are a very good team, strong in all areas of the pitch and I think they’ll have a great campaign where they will be able involve everyone.”
“Edoardo is still at Roma because they club wanted him and we respected the management’s wish to keep him. He’s working hard and has a contract with the club, the pitch will tell the story.”
“It is already important and significant that he is considered part of such an ambitious project,” Tavano added. “He is a young player and there will be chances for him to express his talent.”
