Stephan El Shaarawy took part in last night’s preseason friendly with Sporting Braga.
The Roma attacker scored the only goal for the Giallorossi to temporarily give his side a 1-0 lead before Braga found the equalizer late in the second half.
After the match, El Shaarawy spoke to Roma TV, “We played a good game, a tough game, a real game with a high tempo.”
“Sporting are ahead in terms of preparation because in a week they will have official matches so today it was important to play with good intensity. We did well, a pity about the goal we conceded in the final minutes but the objective is to find the best form in view of the league.”
“Scoring is always nice and always good but now the goal is to find the best shape for everyone and try to get there in the best possible way in the league and in the other competitions. We want to do well both in Europe and in the league, that’s our goal.”
