A late goal from Stephan El Shaarawy capped off a superb performance for Roma this evening against Napoli.
The attacker found the back of the net during injury time, securing a point for the Giallorossi over the Partenopei, who were dominated throughout the second half.
“We deserved more,” El Shaarawy told DAZN at full-time.
“If we play with this spirit and with this desire to win, we can go far and fight for our still important objectives.”
“We’re on the right track, just like we saw in the second half. We played a tough game, we certainly deserved more.”
He added, “Tonight was just another demonstration that we don’t give up until the very end. As for me, a goal always gives you confidence, especially when you’re not playing or scoring consistently.”
