Roma attacker Stephan El Shaarawy has extended his contract with the capital club.
As he neared the expiry of his current deal, El Shaarawy engaged in talks with Roma for a highly-anticipated renewal.
After a season of great performances mostly off the bench, the club agreed to extend El Shaarawy’s contract until 2025.
According to Corriere dello Sport, the contract has already been signed and waiting to be announced. El Shaarawy will have an option for an additional year depending on certain performance-related criteria.
