El Shaarawy rejects Sevilla approaches

The transfer market is in full swing as several names beyond Edin Dzeko and Emerson Palmieri are being linked to various clubs.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Roma attacker Stephan El Shaarawy was contacted by Sevilla as Vincenzo Montella is interested in bringing the player to Spain. The former Milan man, however, rejected the approaches of Monchi’s former club, who were willing to pay El Shaarawy identical wages to what he earns at Roma while also paying €15 million for the transfer. El Shaarawy still believes that Roma is the right environment to grow and has discontinued any discussions of a move to La Liga.
