Even though the Coronavirus has halted football on the pitch, the transfer market never sleeps.

Corriere dello Sport has reported that former Roma attacker Stephan El Shaarawy continues to push for a return to the Giallorossi.

Reportedly, the current Shanghai Shenhua man is ready to renounce the massive wages he’s currently earning in China in order to return to the Italian capital, which he departed from last summer.

There were whispers that Roma attempted to bring El Shaarawy back to the club as early as January, however, talks never got off of the ground.

Reportedly, the former Milan man, 27, is seen as the ideal age to play an important role in the “new” Roma, which will be led by Dan Friedkin.
