El Shaarawy trains partially with the group, Pedro a question mark for Juve match

RomaPress – Roma were back on the training pitch today just two days ahead of their critical league showdown against Juventus in Torino.

The Giallorossi will be missing some key pieces against the Bianconeri, including midfielder Lorenzo Pellegrini, who is suspended, and Chris Smalling, who misses out due to injury. Meanwhile, it still remains to be seen if Paulo Fonseca will opt to continue with Borja Mayoral at striker or if he will bring Edin Dzeko back into his starting formation.

During today’s training session, newly acquired Stephan El Shaarawy trained partially with the group while Pedro was limited — his availability for Saturday is a question mark.

With Pellegrini unavailable this weekend, it’s possible that Fonseca could choose to push Bryan Cristante further up the pitch in a role similar to the one that he played at Atalanta.
