El Shaarawy undergoes Roma medical

RomPress – Stephan El Shaarawy arrived at Villa Stuart hospital just before 10.30 CET this morning to undergo his medical examinations ahead of his return to Roma.

”Il Faraone” touched down in the Italian capital last Saturday evening but tested positive for COVID-19 upon his arrival. After six days, the attacker has finally tested negative and is ready to finalise his reunion with the Giallorossi after he left for Shanghai Shenghua eighteen months ago.

Before beginning the exam process, he stated briefly, “I’m very happy to be returning to Roma.”

El Shaarawy represents the first acquisition for General Director Tiago Pinto and will put pen to paper on and two and half year contract upon the completion of his medicals.
