Roma attacker Eldor Shomurodov had been linked with a potential exit from the club due to his limited playing time this past season. However, the Uzbekistan striker does not intend to give up so easily on his career in the capital.
Upon leaving Trigoria earlier today, Shomurodov stopped to sign autographs and greet fans waiting outside the gates of Roma’s training facilities.
According to Voce Giallorossa, the player was asked about his future, to which the 26-year-old replied, “I’m staying here.”
Thus, Roma and Mourinho will be able to rely on Shomurodov to serve as Tammy Abraham’s backup for another season.
