Eldor Shomurodov discussed the impact Jose Mourinho has had on his career since joining Roma.
The Uzbeki striker recently completed a loan move to Cagliari where he was asked to reflect on Mourinho’s teachings after an unsuccessful spell in the Italian capital.
“We used to talk about my potential,” Shomurodov said in an interview with Cagliari’s official website. “Before my move to Spezia, he told me to score a lot of goals and come back stronger to help the team.”
“I haven’t heard from him this summer, but something that stuck with me from his way of doing things is always focusing on winning: you must always think about winning, analyzing things through a winning lens.”
