Eldor Shomurodov will not move to Salernitana after the clubs involved failed to reach an agreement before the transfer deadline.
The Uzbeki striker – on loan at Cagliari from Roma – was in talks to interrupt his stint in Sardinia and join Salernitana for the remainder of the season.
However, Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport reports that Shomurodov’s transfer to Salernitana has collapsed and the player will remain at Cagliari after Claudio Ranieri decided against the termination of his loan.
