Eldor Shomurodov to depart Roma in coming weeks

Eldor Shomurodov could be on the move in January after a disappointing spell at Roma.

Since joining the Giallorossi in 2021, the Uzbeki striker failed to make an impression on Jose Mourinho and fell behind in the manager’s pecking order.

As a result, the player has been linked with a move away from the Italian capital in favor of Torino.

The player is reportedly close to joining Ivan Juric’s side, claims Repubblica, but Torino will first have to sell Antonio Sanabria in order to secure Shomurodov’s arrival.

Roma want to permanently part ways with the ex-Genoa man by including an obligation at the end of the season.
