Emerson: “Huge emotion to return.”

Emerson Palmieri spoke to Roma TV after making his return to the pitch in the Primavera’s 2-1 loss to Inter’s Primavera. Here are his words:

Your knee?
The knee has responded well, I’m pleased.

You have waited all summer, now the beautiful part arrives.
Yes, almost six months have passed. The worst part is over, I’ve been working every day in training. I have to thank the Primavera guys, it was a huge emotion to return.

How did your legs feel?
Good. The plan was to play 45-60 minutes, I played sixty and I was fine.

You’re now available, are you ready?
Yes, it was important. For three weeks I’ve been with the group, I’m feeling better and after an official match, I feel closer to 100%.

Tomorrow will you be on the bench?
Yes, I will be there.
