Roma left back Emerson Palmieri was interviewed by Sky Sport today as he approaches his return to the pitch. These are his words:
What level is your current physical condition at?
I can not say I’m at 100%, but I’m working every day to get back as soon as possible.
What if Di Francesco asked you to start against SPAL?
The urge to play is there and that’s normal, but he is the Mister and the one who decides, he sees me in training and he is the one who can see whether I am ready or not, the choice is up to him.
What do you like about Di Francesco’s style of play?
It’s very attacking, we’re compact and we try to push forward and I like that. We aim to score goals and win matches.
Your future?
I have a contract with Roma, but the rumors do make me happy because it means I have done a good job, but I’m happy here.
