Emerson to renew: Peres, Gerson, Juan Jesus likely to leave

Il Corriere dello Sport have released an update today regarding the futures of the Brazilians at Roma.

Alisson will be the number one choice after impressing in his first season in Europe while Emerson will soon sign a new contract after his breakout season in which he was a first choice. However, Roma will be without the left-back until October due to a torn ACL.

The futures of Juan Jesus, Bruno Peres, and Gerson appear to be away from Roma. The first two were extremely inconsistent all season despite being given numerous chances while Gerson still is a mystery after not having played much and refusing Lille in January. Roma have paid nearly €40 million for all three, who are now on the market with Roma hoping to recover some of the money spent.
