Roma released the following statement regarding Emerson Palmieri, who suffered a torn ACL yesterday against Genoa:
“Monday morning Emerson Palmieri underwent arthroscopic surgery to reconstruct the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee.”
“The surgery went as planned and the defender will now begin a rehabilitation programme.”
