Unai Emery briefly addressed some rumors linking him with the managerial vacancy at Roma.
Some weeks ago, the Spanish manager had been linked with Roma as Claudio Ranieri’s successor.
According to some Italian media outlets, Emery was among the names the Giallorossi had considered appointing at the end of the season.
However, Emery himself denied these rumors, shutting them down in a brief yet effective interview with Teleradiostereo.
When asked about Roma being a possibility for him, the current Aston Villa boss simply replied, “It’s impossible now.”
