Argentina goal-keeper Emiliano Martinez is reportedly among the potential candidates to replace Rui Patricio.
The Aston Villa shot-stopper is being linked with Roma as he looks to leave the Premier League at the end of the season.
Several Italian clubs, including Roma, have made inquiries for him, informs Corriere dello Sport.
Villa, however, value Martinez at around €25 million – a fee Roma would not be willing to spend on an aging goal-keeper.
The decision on Roma’s future goal-keeper will largely depend on Jose Mourinho’s future and, inevitably, on the future of his assistant and goal-keeper coach Nuno Santos.
