Empoli manager Paolo Zanetti attended his pre-match press conference ahead of tomorrow night’s Roma showdown at Stadio Olimpico.
“If Roma have one point it makes us understand that it’s not just difficult for us to get off to a good start,” Zanetti told reporters when asked about Empoli’s slow start with three consecutive losses. “They have different players and yet they started badly.”
“It’s a very difficult match for us. The stadium will be very packed and this must be the great motivation for us. We must go beyond ourselves, if we don’t help each other and are not cynical we won’t succeed. Our goal is to live up to the spotlight. Today I feel calm based on what I have seen this week.”
“I have great confidence for tomorrow, the numbers so far are negative but we can only improve from here,” he concluded.
