On the eve of Roma-Empoli at the Stadio Olimpico, Empoli sporting director Pietro Accardi was asked about Guglielmo Vicario, one of the most talked about goal-keepers in Italy who could be on the verge of a summer move to a bigger side.
Accardi, however, denied the rumors linking Vicario with Roma, “We haven’t heard from anybody at Trigoria so far,” he told Corriere dello Sport.
“We will see what happens in the summer, surely there is a lot of talk about him abroad. Lots of clubs outside of Italy are after him.”
“For now, however, we enjoy him being with us. He’s a fantastic player and a nice person, he always wants to improve and that’s incredible. You should see how he trains, the intensity that he shows in training…”
