Empoli president Corsi: “Bennacer? He won’t move in January”.

Empoli president Fabrizio Corsi spoke to Radio Radio about the future of Ismail Bennacer, who has been heavily linked with a potential move to Roma. These are his words:

“Monchi wants to talk about Bennacer for June? That’s better (laughs). He (Bennacer) is a smart boy, he’s not thinking about changing in January, not even for an important side such as Roma. He can play another 15 matches here as a starter and can prepare to make the jump to an important place whereas if he left now, he’d simply be an alternate.”
