Fabrizio Corsi – the President of Empoli – was asked to address the recent rumors surrounding Tommaso Baldanzi’s possible move to Roma.

With less than 36 hours to go until the transfer deadline, Corsi admitted that anything can happen with regards to Baldanzi’s future as the player is pushing to join Roma.

In an interview with TuttoMercatoWeb, Corsi tried his best to remain cryptic, but his remarks point to a shifting situation.

“We see. There are less than 48 hours left until the end of the transfer window, it could be that tomorrow he’s still with us at Empoli and will be decisive for us, but there’s also the possibility that he won’t be here.”

“I can’t tell you exactly what will happen. We know that Roma are interested, there has been some chatter, but not directly with Roma.”
