Empoli president Fabrizio Corsi: “Bennacer could go to Roma”.

Empoli president Fabrizio Corsi was interviewed by Radio CRC and admitted that midfielder Ismaël Bennacer, who is being eyed by several clubs throughout Europe, could end up at Roma. These are his words:

He is a strong player, evaluations are being made over time. He’s a ’97 class player who has already been shaped. He’s had a great path of growth, let’s leave him be to work. Our club is in good shape and won’t be forced to sell. Napoli are interested, but let’s see. He could even end up at Roma — De Rossi holds him in high regard. Daniele came up to my staff and asked, “How have you gotten such a young, strong player like that?” Inter are also interested.
