Empoli’s Fabiano Parisi: “I’ve always admired Spinazzola.”

Empoli fullback Fabiano Parisi expressed his admiration for Roma counterpart Leonardo Spinazzola in an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport where he also previewed tomorrow’s engagement with the Giallorossi.

“I don’t think about the transfer market, but about playing well with Empoli: this is the ideal club for young players because it makes you grow without pressure and allows you to make mistakes.”

“The other big goal is to join the national team. I hope Mancini will take a look at me as the season progresses,” Parisi said.

About Spinazzola, the young defender had nothing but praise, “I’ve always admired him: he’s quick, with great technical ability, can play on both wings…”

“He was unbelievable at EURO 2020. It will be nice to face such a great player on the pitch tomorrow,” he concluded.
