Luis Enrique, Barcelona manager, has announced that he will take a sabbatical after leaving the Spanish club at the end of this season.
The announcement comes after Enrique was heavily linked with a return to Roma along with Monchi, who is close to being announced as the new sporting director.
“Now that I am leaving Barcelona, I will not go anywhere else. I will take a year to recover, but now the important thing is to finish the season reaching our highest targets. I won’t be seeing Monchi in the summer. I’ll rest and go to the beach where there is good weather. I do not want to manage next season. In the future, we will see.”
