Evan Ndicka decided to anticipate his arrival in the Italian capital as a new Roma signing.
The ex-Frankfurt defender joined the Giallorossi on a free transfer in June and, following a brief spell on international duty, was expected to be back in Rome for preseason training on Monday.
Instead, Corriere dello Sport reports that Ndicka had already been taking part in team activities prior to his scheduled return.
According to the Italian newspaper, despite being still allowed to be on holiday and not featuring in yesterday’s friendly with Boreale, Ndicka completed individual work-outs and took part in several group training drills in order to make himself available to Jose Mourinho from the get-go.
