Roma announced their latest signing, Evan Ndicka, earlier today.
Soon after the announcement was made official, the club released their first interview with the ex-Frankfurt defender.
“I am very happy to be here. I am in a beautiful city, in a very good team. I’m sure we will work well together,” said Ndicka.
“I received interest from many European clubs. I have had extensive discussions with my entourage, as well as with the Roma management. Over time they convinced me of the nature of the project, of my prospects, that I would like the city and I would work with a great coach.”
“I’m sure the team and the coach will help me settle in at the beginning. I will bring my experience despite being very young in all competitions, in the league and in Europe.”
“Roma are coming off a Europa League final. Unfortunately it didn’t go well, but they proved to be a great team. I think we can do better and fight for a place in the Champions League.”
