Preparations are underway for Roma’s highly anticipated second leg of the Europa League playoffs with Feyenoord.

The Giallorossi will look to advance to the next round after initially drawing 1-1 at the De Kuip Arena in Rotterdam.

Minor changes are expected to be applied to the team’s starting formation following Sunday’s emphatic 3-0 win over Frosinone which allowed some key players to rest.

According to Il Messaggero, De Rossi’s main doubt right now regards the defense. Ideally, the Roma boss would like to start either Smalling or Ndicka alongside Gianluca Mancini.

However, Smalling is still a long way away from being able to play from start.

As a result, the newspaper suggests that Ndicka is currently favored to appear in the team’s line-up over Diego Llorente.

Ndicka will likely lead Roma’s backline for the first time since leaving the team for AFCON in December and play alongside Mancini and Angelino.
