Defender Evan Ndicka has landed in Ciampino Airport in the Italian capital ahead of his free transfer to Roma.

The French central defender was seen leaving the airport earlier this afternoon after his plane arrived about 30 minutes later than initially expected.

He will now undergo his medical tests with Roma before signing his new contract. He’ll pen a five-year deal with the Giallorossi until 2028, officially ending his stint with German side Eintracht Frankfurt.

The defender becomes the second high-profile free agent acquisition for the Giallorossi so far this summer. Former Lyon midfielder Houssem Aouar officially joined on Monday–signing a five-year deal with the capital club.
