Evan Ndicka ranked third most valuable u-25 defender in Serie A

Andy Mattioli

Roma defender Evan Ndicka received a special recognition since his arrival in Serie A.

In fact, according to International Centre for Sports Studies (CIES) the Ivorian central defender is the third most valuable defender under 25 in Serie A: his estimated evaluation is €44.3 million.

Ahead of him are Atalanta’s Scalvini (€90.6 million) and Inter Milan’s Bastoni (€78.4 million).

The Giallorossi player arrived in the summer on a free transfer after concluding his time at Eintracht Frankfurt.

The Ivorian centre-back started the season on an uphill climb, but in his last few outings he showed that he could command the Giallorossi defence with his physicality and pace.

Now, Roma boss Jose Mourinho will have to do without him because of the Africa Cup of Nations for the next few weeks.
