Evan Ndicka is yet to make his official Roma debut since joining the Giallorossi in June as a free agent.
The 25-year-old defender signed on to become a pivotal presence in Jose Mourinho’s backline.
However, despite excellent fitness levels, Ndicka is said to have struggled to integrate with the rest of the team’s defense in the weeks of pre-season training.
However, Il Messaggero reports that Ndicka may after all makes his first appearance for Roma in the upcoming match against Empoli.
The newspaper predicts that Ndicka will start, replacing Diego Llorente in Roma’s starting line-up as Mourinho seeks to reinforce the team’s defensive solidity.
