Evan Ndicka is expected to miss an extended period of time after collapsing on the pitch in the recent match against Udinese.

After having been diagnosed with apparent thoracic trauma (which excluded the possibility of a heart attack), Ndicka is going to observe a few days of rest.

This will help his body absorb the trauma it suffered on Sunday afternoon.

Once the defender is physically better, Il Tempo reports that Roma will schedule a series of tests meant to assess the development of his condition and determine a more accurate timeline of recovery.

Early speculations from the media suggested Ndicka might be out for 3-4 weeks.
