Roma are being linked with low-cost defensive reinforcements from the Premier League.
The capital club are famously in need of extra defenders given Chris Smalling’s prolonged injury absence and Evan Ndicka’s participation in AFCON.
However, Roma are also under UEFA’s strict supervision and can only sign players on loan in the January window.
According to Corriere dello Sport, UEFA’s parameters are so severe that Roma have began looking at extremely low-cost options in England’s top flight including Everton defender Ben Godfrey and Crystal Palace’s Rob Holding.
Both have hardly had any playing time this season and could depart their respective clubs on favorable terms.
