Ex-assistant coach Nuno Campos: “I loved working for Roma.”

Paulo Fonseca’s former assistant manager, Nuno Campos, finally got his big break recently as head coach of Santa Clara in Portugal’s first division.

In his introduction, Campos was asked about his time at Roma as assistant coach to Fonseca with whom he previously worked with at Shakhtar Donetsk.

“I loved working for Roma. For the club, the city, the fans. I loved it.”

He added:

“It’s a great club, and it was an honor to have been able to represent the Giallorossi.”

“It’s a great honor for me to be able to say that I’ve represented the one and only Roma.”
