Former Feyenoord attacker Bryan Linssen was asked about what it felt like to lose against Jose Mourinho’s Roma in the Conference League final in Tirana.
“I still can’t bear to watch any replays of that night,” Linssen told 1908.nl. “I think Roma won that night only because they had Mourinho as their coach. I truly believe that.”
“In that one match, he was at his absolute best. If we had met Roma in the semifinals, we would have won. Over two legs they would not have been able to win against us. But in Tirana, in one match, they succeeded, and only because of Mourinho.”
