Former Inter Milan defender Marco Materazzi spoke ahead of tonight’s showdown between Roma and the Nerazzurri at Stadio Olimpico.
In an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport, Materazzi said of today’s game, “For Roma it is the first real test with De Rossi in charge, for Inter it certainly won’t be a walk in the park. Let’s put it this way: I hope Roma win them all from next week onwards.”
“De Rossi? I believe that in Trigoria there is no happier man than him these days,” he added.
“And I’m happy for him, at least as much as I’m sorry for José Mourinho that it ended the way it did. Coaching Roma was his great dream: not anymore. It’s become a reality.”
