Former Inter president Massimo Moratti – a close personal friend of Mourinho’s since their treble-winning collaboration in Milan – spoke about the Special One’s progress at the capital club given Roma’s recent ups and downs and injury woes.
“I think he’s doing well enough,” Moratti said in an interview with iminter.it. “On Sunday he lost with Napoli, the team that is currently sitting on top of the league and collected full points in their Champions League group.”
“I think ultimately, for Roma’s current possibilities, he’s doing a good job. Despite the several injuries he’s had to deal with and the numerous obstacles along the way, I always have full confidence in Mourinho.”
