Former Italy and Juventus manager Marcello Lippi praised Jose Mourinho for the way he led Roma in the first leg of the Europa League semifinal.
In an interview with Libero, Lippi remarked, “With 6-7 starters injured, Mourinho was able to draw a very concrete plan of action.”
“Cristante acted as the team’s defensive leader. Then Bove offered the versatility that was needed to win 1-0. It’s a good result heading into the return leg in Germany.”
