Former Lazio man Danilo Cataldi discussed his summer switch to Fiorentine and compared his journey to that of Edoardo Bove.

The two players – former opponents during the Derby della Capitale – are now both at Fiorentina after accepting a move there on the final day of the transfer window.

“We followed a similar path, finding ourselves in this bubble together,” said Cataldi who recently left his boyhood club.

“I met him, Bove is a strong footballer. I repeat what I said before: when you meet nice people, the team they represent means very little.”

He added, “Rome is a difficult place, but now we are here and we both have to do the good of Fiorentina.”
