Former Milan and Italy manager Arrigo Sacchi claimed in a recent interview that Roma may be the surprise of next season given their addition of Paulo Dybala and José Mourinho’s ability to handle pressure in his second year in the Italian capital.
“I’m following Roma very closely,” Sacchi told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
“Mourinho brought enthusiasm to the whole city and Dybala’s arrival can facilitate the leap in quality Roma have been waiting for.”
“Sure,” he added. “The team will need some time to find the right rhythm and work as a group, but the Conference League win was an incredible spark.”
“Mourinho is fantastic at handling emotions, his own and his players’ as well.”
