Former Roma manager Ottavio Bianchi – in charge of the Giallorossi from 1990 until 1992 – discussed Roma’s growth with Jose Mourinho and the Friedkins at the helm.

“Roma had some problems early on in the season but managed to make the final stretch of the campaign very interesting,” he said on the radio program Il Diabolico e il Divino.

“And winning the Conference League brought great enthusiasm among the fans. The Friedkins have done a great job of arousing the interest of the fanbase.”

He then shared his opinion about this past year’s Serie A. “In my opinion, Napoli had the perfect opportunity to win the league but lost too many home games.”

“I think Milan deservedly won even if all the top teams made several mistakes this year.”
