Ex-Roma boss Paulo Fonseca finalizing deal with Lille


After taking a sabbatical year following his two season in the Italian capital, Paulo Fonseca is looking to re-enter the world of football for the upcoming campaign.

According to Sportitalia, the Portuguese technician is on the verge of becoming the coach of French side Lille.

The ex-Roma boss is finalizing a deal with Lille, and his entourage are at work to complete the last details of the operation.

The team’s current manager Jocelyn Gourvennec is expected to leave soon and Fonseca will be his direct replacement.
