Former Roma manager Claudio Ranieri has announced his plans to retire in the coming years.
After leading Cagliari to a historic promotion to Serie A, Ranieri is reportedly looking forward to concluding his career in Sardinia.
In an interview with Rai 3, Ranieri – who led Roma on two separate occasions, most recently in the spring of 2019 – said, “I think I will conclude my career at Cagliari. I would only make an exception if there was a good national team that would allow me to work: I was disappointed when I left Greece.”
“Yes,” Ranieri added. “I think Cagliari will be my last stop.”
