Ex-Roma manager and current boss of Frosinone, Eusebio Di Francesco, was asked about the impending deal for Romelu Lukaku.
In an interview with Rai Radio 1, Di Francesco shared his thoughts on Roma-Lukaku rumours as well as the Giallorossi’s poor start to the season.
“Roma would have a great advantage with the arrival of Lukaku,” said the Italian technician. “If he ever arrives in the capital, he’ll do well: we’re talking about a very strong, modern player who can make the difference.”
“Truth be told, I didn’t expect Roma to start off the season on the wrong foot. But, I also think that they didn’t deserve to lose with Hellas Verona,” he added.
