Ex-Roma defender, executive Antonio Tempestilli praises Mourinho’s impact

Former Roma defender and executive Antonio Tempestilli applauded the Giallorossi for their 4-0 triumph over Bodø/Glimt yesterday evening in the Conference League.

The 62 year-old also praised manager José Mourinho and the impact he’s made in less than one year with the club.

“Yesterday was a fundamental success in order for Roma to demonstrate continuity,” he told Tuttomercatoweb.

“This season has had up’s and down’s but also many exciting moments. However, now the team seems to have found the character they were lacking earlier and you can clearly see the impact Mourinho has made.”

“Furthermore, things are still open from a league perspective. In this phase of the season, the teams that are fighting against relegation raise their levels and can pull off shock results.”

Adding, “Roma face Napoli on Monday and it’s a delicate match for both teams. A win for the Giallorossi would give them the conviction and belief they can conquer the fourth and final Champions League place.”
