Ex-Roma executive Massimo Tarantino disarms assailant in Assago stabbing

Moments of terror and fear took place in Assago, a town near Milan, yesterday afternoon when a man attacked several people in a supermarket, killing one person and wounding four.

Among the injured was former Arsenal defender Pablo Mari – currently playing for Monza – who is now recovering following immediate surgery.

As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, the violent assailant was disarmed by former Roma executive Massimo Tarantino.

Tarantino worked for the capital club between 2013 and 2019, and was responsible for the Giallorossi’s Youth sector.
