Former Roma fullback Luca Pellegrini has joined Lazio on loan from Juventus. Despite completing his journey with Roma’s youth sector and making his senior debut with the Giallorossi in 2018, Pellegrini revealed himself to be a Laziale at heart.
Upon landing in the Italian capital after an unsuccessful spell at Frankfurt, Pellegrini told reporters present at Fiumicino airport, “It’s an exciting evening, hard for me to find the right words. I am delighted to be back home.”
“It’s a difficult emotion to explain, I’ve finally joined the team of my heart. I have never experienced anything like this in my life.”
