Nicolo Zaniolo is reportedly pushing to return to Serie A after departing Roma in February of 2023.

A year after his decision to part ways with the Giallorossi, Zaniolo seems to have changed his mind regarding his future away from Italy’s top flight.

Over recent weeks, the former Roma attacker has been increasingly linked with a move back to Serie A where Napoli are said to be waiting for him.

In an interview with Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli, the agent of Zaniolo, Claudio Vigorelli, acknowledge Napoli as a real possibility ahead of the summer transfer window.

“Napoli is a beautiful place,” said Vigorelli. “The truth is that it would be a very welcome solution for Nicolò.”

Zaniolo’s loan at Aston Villa is bound to end within the coming weeks – the player will make his return to Galatasaray and will then aim for a transfer to Italy.
